Ron Fowler, ‘The Flower Clown‘, has been in Kathmandu and Bhaktapur in Nepal for the last two and a half months on a business trip. When the magnitude 7.8 earthquake hit on Saturday, Ron and his family were lucky enough to survive unscathed.
Ron has both family and work links with the region, and couldn’t ignore the suffering that was occurring in front of his very eyes.
So, Ron decided to do his part and cheer up the children left homeless and hungry by the quake. Making delightful balloon animals.
When Ron performed, the squeals and laughter of excited children overwhelmed any sounds of sorrow. Proving that the little things really do matter.
Ron and his family returned to the United States on Tuesday, but are continuing to support the people of Nepal in any way they can.
