Someone took Adam Levine’s lyrics for “Sugar” a bit too seriously.
The Maroon 5 frontman was outside Jimmy Kimmel’s studio on Wednesday night signing some autographs for fans, when a man threw a bag of powered sugar in his face.
He quickly walked away with an angry look on his face.
In the song “Sugar,” Levine pretty much asks for it.
“Your sugar. Yes, please,” he says. “Won’t you come and put it down on me?”
