Remember your mom’s get rich quick Beanie Baby scheme? She’d buy up all the “rare” Beanie Babies and then sell them one day and make millions of dollars? Yeah, that didn’t work out for my mom, either. She now has a basement filled with plus toys that not even her dog is interested in. However, according to Pix 11, that isn’t the case for one Great Britain couple, who bought a Beanie Baby at a flea market for $15 (which, honestly, sounds like quite a bit of money to spend on a flea market Beanie Baby?) and then found out the thing is worth almost 100K. (Your mom’s) dreams do come true!
It is now listed on eBay for the starting bid about $29,890. I guess time will tell whether or not someone will pay almost 100K for a purple plush toy.
